Conductor billing terms — version 3 (DRAFT, pending legal sign-off; test mode only)
By adding a card you authorise Behavox [legal entity] to charge it automatically, without asking you each time, for the Conductor workspaces where you are the owner — every such workspace, now and later, until you delete it.
- Free credit. Without a card you can own one workspace. It comes with a one-time $30 credit. The credit covers everything the workspace uses, including the cloud infrastructure it runs on while idle, so even an unused workspace uses it up over time. Usage before you added a card is never charged.
- When the credit runs out without a card, the workspace is paused: its agents stop and it can't use AI or start new agents until you add a card. If no card is added within the grace period (currently 1 day), the workspace is removed.
- Workspaces created after you add a card get no free credit; their usage is charged from the start. A workspace that still has credit when you add a card uses the credit first.
- What is charged. Once a month, per workspace, its usage: AI model usage at our published per-token rates plus the cloud infrastructure the workspace runs (virtual machines, disks, databases), which costs money even when nobody is using it. You can follow each workspace's usage on your Conductor account page.
- Monthly limit. Each workspace has one monthly limit. It starts at the default set when the workspace is created, shown on the workspace's Costs page. The workspace's owner or any of its admins can change it at any time, up to $83,333,333.33 a month, without a fresh sign-in and without your confirmation. The limit in force when you add your card, and every later change to it, applies to your card. We notify you on your account page whenever a workspace's limit is raised. You can see each workspace's limit on your account page; its owner and admins change it on the workspace's Costs page.
- What the limit does. When a workspace reaches its limit, only its AI calls are blocked; its agents keep running and its cloud infrastructure keeps running and is still charged. So a month's charge can exceed the limit: anything more than $5 over the limit is not charged automatically — we review it first.
- When. Each workspace's statement appears about 3 days after the month ends, and the card is charged about 2 days later. A statement can also include, each as a separate labelled line: a correction for the previous month when cloud cost data arrives late (at most one month back), amounts under $5 carried from earlier months, and adjustments made by your administrator.
- If a charge fails we retry and may pause the workspace's agents until it is paid.
- Stopping charges. Charges continue every month until you delete the workspace (on your account page). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone; the workspace is removed within 24 hours. One final charge follows, within about a week, for usage up to the deletion and any unpaid amounts, or a refund if we owe you money; the card is removed once none of your workspaces has anything left to bill.
- Ownership. If a workspace gets a new owner, charges for it move to the new owner's card from that moment.
Charges are in US dollars; your bank may add conversion fees. Stripe processes payments; Conductor never sees your card number.
